[Resolved]  Croma — misleading and false information being shared about the products

Dear sir / ma’am,
I am priyanka gupta from gurgaon.
This mail is being written to you to inform about the misleading & false information being shared about the products by the representatives of chroma store with an intention to increase the sales & unprofessional attitude of the store manager towards the customers.
I have visited the chroma store at sector-29-a120 in gurgaon on saturday (28 july 2018) to purchase a phone (Invoice no. : sla[protected] dt. 28.7.2018 @ 2:18pm).
We enquired about the samsung & redmi phone about which we had already done the workout prior to coming to store.
Our pre-requisites for the phone which we briefed to mr. Ashish (Sales person) were :
1) dual sim
2) extendable memory card slot (We keep all our data in memory card as in case of any damage to mobile, the data can be easily retrieved)
3) screen mirroring with television
But mr. Ashish suggested us to go for nokia 7 plus. Point no. 2 of pre-requisites mentioned above was not available for which he said google offers unlimited storage space & the need for extendable memory card slot is thus nullified.
We had another apprehension to buy this that how will this data stored in google drive get linked to any other phone in case of any damage to the phone & phone gets changed.
He replied that since there is unlimited storage space, you can save it on google drive & it can be retrieved later on any other phone also.
So because of above features explained, we bought the phone.
After purchasing the phone, when we tried to upload the photos on google drive, the error for limitation of storage space appeared & it asked us to buy more storage space on paid basis (Which conflicted the feature o[censored]nlimited storage space explained to us).
After waiting for several hours the google representative was called & he made some settings in the phone for unlimited storage space on this phone.
He also explained that this feature is applicable only for this phone that too with a validity of 3-4 years (Which was not explained to us before we bought the phone).
We requested the store executives to replace the phone as this was not meeting out intended requirements which we had clearly communicated before buying. Also this was the story of the same day, so phone had also not been used by us.
The store representative discussed with store manager & denied the replacement of the phone.
The store manger did not have the courtesy to even meet the dis-satisfied customers once & resolve the issue face-to-face.

Also there was one offer on the phone of inr 2000/- cashback for airtel users. On enquiring about the same we were tols that in this scheme we need to purchase a new airtel number & the cashback will be in the form of a plan on the new sim which will be be free for 6 months. When we told him that we have an existing airtel postpaid number, he denied, and told that this plan is applicable only for pre-paid number.
Later on enquiring from airtel store, we came to know that existing postpaid users can avail this scheme on buying the phone from airtel online store & for pre-paid customers this cashback will be in form of a pre-paid plan & covered in 36 months.

So you can see by above instances that how untrained executives are misguiding the customers just for the sake of making sales & money & spoling the brand name of chroma & tata enterprises.

It is my sincere request to look into the matter & support us by providing the following assistance :
1) replacement of the phone with either samsung / redmi & refund the balance amount to us
2) train & instruct your executives to guide the customers not with intention of selling but with intention of building true customers who will come back again to your store on the basis of faith developed.
Such instances might have occurred with other customers also, but in this busy life style of today, it seems that very few like me take the pain of expressing the customer grievance in writing so that the brand image od the company is not spoilt.
