On April 12, 2023, I placed an order for a Canon M50 Mark II camera. However, due to some server errors, the cart was refreshing multiple times, causing some confusion during checkout. Despite this issue, my order was eventually processed. Unfortunately, the GST number was not updated on the invoice due to a server error on their end. I paid a total of 57, 499/- for the purchase, with 50, 000 paid through gift vouchers and 7, 499 via credit card.
After realizing the error, I contacted customer care to request an update to the invoice. They suggested canceling the order and reordering, assuring me that the gift cards would be revalidated within two days and that the amount paid via credit card would be refunded. While the refund to my credit card was instantaneous, the gift cards were not revalidated or renewed as promised. Despite my efforts to contact Croma's customer care, I was told only that the issue had been highlighted and that they were working on it.
On April 15, 2023, I finally received an update from customer support indicating that the refund for the 50, 000/- gift vouchers would need to be done manually, which would require their team to take action. Despite being promised that their team would refund the amount, I have received no calls or email replies. I have sent multiple emails to Croma's support team, but have received no response, leaving me feeling ignored and frustrated.
It is imperative that Croma revalidates the 50, 000/- gift vouchers as soon as possible, and improves its support to ensure that customers do not face similar issues in the future. Additionally, the company should be more proactive in responding to customers' concerns and complaints.
