I'm karthikeyan. I have booked a complaint in crompton greaves customer care and my complaint no was [protected] dated 21.06.'17. I have 2 cg instant water heaters (3lts) in my home and both were not working for the past 2 weeks. So i booked a complaint and they told that service person will come from sri unnamalai agencies, kanchipuram. A person came on last saturday 24.06.'17 from that agency. He dismantled one of two heaters and told that the tank has to be changed. Then he looked another one and told gasket was gone in that heater without touching it. Then he called his owner and told it will cost around ₹1800/-. And another one which he scanned with his eyes will cost very less only.
Then i asked him to repair the second one which has minor problem. He told that he had come there only to survey the problem and not to rectify it.
Then he took a form and asked me to sign in that and also asked the "happy code". After i told the code he asked me ₹350/- without any guilty feeling. Without rectifying my problem how could i pay him? When i refused to give, he called again his owner. He gave his phone to me and told to speak with him. He repeated the same. He won't give bill also it seems.
After a long argument he accepted to send his service person on monday. Till now he hasn't send anybody.
I am very much disappointed by this kind of behaviour shown by a reputed company like crompton greaves.
I request you to rectify my problem as soon as possible.
Otherwise let me know the higher officials to whom i have to complain.
