Deccan Chronicle — Samsung 55 inch TV FAULTY - Terrible Customer service

We bought a 55 inch Samsung smart TV on the 28th. March, 2021 from Bajaj Electronics. Within a span of 3 weeks it developed vertical lines as well as bubbles on the screen. On calling Samsung customer care on the 29th. April (31 days from the date of purchase), i wad told they will not replace the TV as their policy of replacement is only if the complaint is submitted within 30 days. They took a service request no.. to change the faulty part- which was the entire screen/ panel. In any case, with multiple follow ups and calls, they finally arrived with a screen panel in a few weeks time. Upon fitting the screen panel the technician realised that the panel was faulty. At this point i requested again for the TV to be replaced as they were not able to get a functioning screen/ panel for the TV!! They have asked me to send mails requesting for the same which i did promptly early May. Since then i have made several calls, sent several mail follow ups but there has been no response. On calling customer care they simply say there is no update!!
It has been almost 3 months since i gave bought the TV but nothing has been done to replace the TV. More importantly there is no line of sight to when the faulty TV will be repaired or replaced because Samsung has gone silent.
It is extremely frustrating to be on the this side of terrible customer service from Samsung. The experience has been harrowing to say the least and even today there is absolutely no information from Samsung on their intent. Given am option i would have rather gone filled a Sony or another brand because Samsung is truly hopeless in serving their customers post sales!!
