Delhi Public school has issued application form for admission for 2013-14 on 7/Jan/2013 for Rs.600 for 1st standard class and it was told there will be wrtten examination on 27/Jan/2013 however after couple of weeks they have send SMS saying that there will be lottery system

out of several applied students only 55 application has been selected for draw and out of which only 35 students has been selected through lottery system.

Its was really frustrating and we got cheated despite waiting 3 weeks, Also registeration amount Rs.600 was also not refunded,

On contacting delhi public school admin office no one was sincere to answer and not willing to attend any request as we were not sure our application form selected in lucky draw.

request you to please research and take strict action against this

THERE IS NO CELEBRATION OF REPUBLIC DAY AND INDEPENDENCE DAY IN THE SCHOOLS ON SPECIFIC DAY.FOR THIS PURPOSE I MET TODAY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL AND SHE SAID THAT THERE IS VERY LESS HOLIDAYS IN A YEAR FOR CORPORATE PARENTS THATS WHY WE ARE NOT CELEBRATE AND GIVE HOLIDAYS ON 26TH JANUARY AND 15 AUGUST.ITS NOT FAIR.AND TOLD ME THAT LEAVE FROM MY OFFICE..TUM JO CHAHO KARLO HUM NAHI KARENGE..HUM SIRF 6TH ONWARDS STUDENTS KE LIYE HI PROGRAMME RAKHTE HAI... SO I REQUEST PLEASE TAKE SPECIF STEPS ON IT.

My name is Arunjit Singh Dhindsa and i was Principal of Delhi Public School, Dimapur fropm October 2009 till March 2011. I had submitted the PF claim forms at Guwahati in March 2011, my Member ID: NEGHY[protected]. The form was returned to me in September 2011 stating that in some places the official seal was missing. I forwarded the forms to DPS Dimapur and they sent me fresh forms which I filled up and returned in January 2012. I was told the forms were sent to Guwahati in January 2012 by DPS Dimapur. On searching for the PF status online, I have received the following message :STATUS for Member ID: NEGHY[protected]

Status : Claim Form 10C for Withdrawal Benefit AGAINST Member Account No (NEGHY[protected] has been rejected. Rejection letter is under dispatch/ dispatched to address in your claim

I have taken up a job in Karnataka and will not be able to receive the Rejection Letter at the address mentioned in the Claim Form. I have tried contacting Guwahati PF Office but to no avail. Kindly advise. Is it not the responsibility of the concerned institution and the PF Commission to ensure the Claim is cleared and payment made to the concerned party? The PF has been deducted from my salary regularly but now, even after 15 months of leaving my job at DPS Dimapur I have not received my payment. What should I do?

The DPS School Fee Car[protected] for Ist Term shows Total Rs16,750/-.

But the school is asking to pay now Rs.14250/- to DPS + Rs.4600/- S.T.Edutech on submitting the checks against the actual Fee Card.

There are several additional amounts which DPS collect during the academic year without providing any bills.

Kindly take the required action against the school for duping the students & parents.

i agree with you nobody is responsible everybody think there Gods and Godesses if there are in DPS. We parents are treated as beggars and insulted and humiliated by the prinicipal and teachers. Teachers are least bothered about the children.Anything we write in the organiser they don't even bother to acknowlegde. No water in the toilets

DPS seems to be a money making school. I would like to understand why there is fees charged which is not ethically and legally correct.

Here is the fee structure – demanded by the mgment for LKG admission.

Some charitable organization donation – Rs. 30000
( there will not be any receipt – should be paid in cash)
Admission Fee Rs. 20000
Development Fee Rs. 30000br...

How delhi public school p ltd is got registered under companies act without having any connection with popular delhi public school? Now this co is issuing state wise franchisees by misrepresenting to the public that it is part of dps group. The co collects huge fund from the people and when delhi public school gives its ad that it has no connection with dps play schools run by delhi public school pvt ltd, the franchisee feel cheated and lost....

Dear Sir

Delhi Public School , Sector 45 , Gurgaon , has been compelling students not to buy school shoes (black shoes) from any other place other than from School run canteen . They have directed the parents to buy only NIKE BRAND shoes from the school which is being sold at the school outlet only .

You will agree that in a country which has been inspired by likes of Gandhiji and a movement like Swadeshi was started by him , how can a school compell students to buy only NIKE shoes ?

Secondly , thy have mentioned it in School Diary (Elmanec) also that the students should only buy this particular shoes other wise they will not be allowed to enter the school .

It is a clear cut case o[censored]nfair Trade practice being practiced by the school in question .

You may check the school Elmenac/ School diary which has clearly mentioned this .They must have entered into some kind of Agreement with NIKE SHOES and are earning huge profits !!

I request you to take this matter very seriously against the school authorities .

The so-called trained and well-versed Sanskrit teacher of DPS, Nerul, Mr.Bharat Shastri who claims to have completed his M.A (Phil. And Literature) as well as his B.Ed does not teach the students anything in the classes. The only teacher who trains the students well is Mrs. Sudha Gaur. Bharat Shastri either cuts the students’ marks unnecessarily or give them extra marks. He behaves fine but has a great grudge against the students of classes...

We all parents struggle very hard to up bring our children in a school with good environment & caring teaching staff. When I was about to put my daughter in school at her 3 yrs age, DPS – tag name came in my mind. My daughter studies in Delhi Public School, Newtown, Kolkata, since Nursery.
Now she is in Class- One. But From the very beginning of this session she & her class teacher have some kind of mismatch. Whenever she has any query, her class teacher named Ms. Mandira Dasgupta uses unethical terms & says ‘Go and sit in our desk’. She always keeps punishing her and makes my daughter sit in the last bench. In this full academic year none of the days she could sit in the first bench. But the funniest thing is that, whenever I go & talk to her regarding this issue, her class teacher have no complain about my daughter. Ms. Mandira Dasgupta doesn’t even bother to check her classwork properly. When she returns the classwork Copy at home, we have noticed that many right answers are marked wrong & many wrong class works are marked right in the copy. I don’t want to complain about this teacher to the school authority as she might be marked by other teachers. I just look forward for her next year class teacher.
My suggestion to all parents in that DON’T ADMIT YOUR CHILD IN DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL, NEWTOWN as it is not upto the expectation, compared to its fee structure.

This year 2010-11 session, the school is not running properly. They have 30 to 40 students per class/section. But they have not provided even 2 full time teachers per class/section. The single teacher is asked to cover the entire extended course, in addition preparing entire class for annual programs. It's pathetic that students o[censored]KG onwards are not getting enough attention to have a concept clear. This school is not addressing the core issue of study instead preaching about all round development. What a pathetic state of affair.

They are not able to get competent teacher from the market and as such students and existing teachers are suffering. Principal, vice principals, Owners does not own the responsibility and do not care for the same as they are into good business with lots of students

This school do not have parking lot, it's in a pathetic state when it rains on a muddy field. Vice principals, admins and security has been repeatedly requested, but they do not care to have a permanent solution. Although they are aware of the problem for last 3 years. I do not know where this school is heading ...

I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU ABOUT THE PROBLEMS FACED BY THE PARENTS OF DPS NAVI MUMBAI ( NERUL ) WHICH IS LEADING TO DAMAGE TO THE BRAND IMAGE OF THE DPS.
THE MAIN REASON THAT THE PROBLEMS ARE NOT BEING SORT-OUTED IS THE PRINCIPAL OF THE SCHOOL , INSTEAD OF BEING CO-OPERATIVE WITH THE PARENTS , HE GETS INTO BRAWL WITH PARENTS . HE IS VERY ROUGH IN HIS LANGUAGE & RUDE IN BEHAVIOUR . RECENTLY HE TOLD A FEMALE PARENT TO SHUT UP...

sir mu daughter is studying in dps in chandigarg sec 40 from last 3 years and school is taking admission fee every year 10000 ten thousand fee as other schools r not as u know wht normal person will do this is not right if student is new then it is something else i have a humble request wht u people can help it out

My daughters studied in Delhi Public school for 5 years,at the time of admission thei Original birth certificate was asked to submit in the school,which I did, But the school authorities are not returning it back even after the children are not studying in that school from last 2 years. I am badly in need of their certificate for their admission now? So my question is ,is it a rule of CBSE schools that not to return the Birth certificate of the child once they are admitted in a school after receiving it at the time of admission.?

The application for PF refund in the prescribed form was submitted to Shri Suman of DPS, Harni, Vadodara where I was in the teaching staff for around one year for signature of the Mr Sinha, who is the Principal as required in the form and forwarding to the concerned PF Office on 22.08.2009.

Inspite of my repeated telephonic reminders & request, Shri Suman has been dilly dallying the issue & till date to my knowledge the same has not been forwarded to the concerned PF Office .

As per the PF Act following is the stipulation in respect of PF dues of the employees:-

"It is the duty of the employer under the Act & Scheme to help Employees' Provident Fund organization to settle the Provident Fund dues of his employees. He has to complete the prescribed application within 5 days of receipt [para72(5)] forms & hand over it to the member when he leaves the service."

Can these individuals be enlightened on the statutory provisions, rights of the employees & law of the land so that they may act without delay.

Delhi Public School sec -29 sushant lok Gurgaon Principal Ruchi Seth is Very froad on my child admission she demand me donation Rs. 2, 00, 000. But I am not pay this payment of the school So Ruchi Seth no admit my child. She is my daughter her name is Anamika. This principal on phone abusing me. and this principal very very chiter. She is killer of his husband. please take the immigiately aciton this lady.

NON ADMISSION OF OWN STUDENT IN CLASS 11

KB BHARGAVA IS NO TAKING ADMISSION OF OWN STUDENT IN CLASS 11., VIOLATING THE SUPREME COURT ORDER ., REGARDING ADMISSION BY LAWS FOR CBSE ADMISSION CLASS 11 IN WHICH A SCHOOL CAN, T IGNORE HIS OWN STUDENT & THE SCHOOL CAN, T TAKE NEW ADMISSION IN CLASS 11... ... THE PRINCIPAL IS GREEDY AS HE HAS TAKEN MANY STUDENT...

I am just an ordinary citizen of Andhra Pradesh currently residing in Hyderabad. I would like to bring to your notice a very important issue being faced by most of the middle class families in the city. This is pertaining to the children's school fees. A lot of schools have all of a sudden increased the fees by 30 to 50%. A lot of parents are spending sleepless nights trying to meet ends just to afford their child's education. Many of the mother's my wife spoke to wear in tears because of the un affordability of education. We do not want to compromise on our children's education. But the way school fees are being increased, it is becoming extremely difficult to afford good education. Our children are the future of this country, and if we do not provide good education to them, it will eventually effect our country.

We humbly request you review the present schooling system. The following are some suggestions we have:

1. Schools should be affordable to everyone.
2. There should be a ceiling of 10% on the maximum fee hike per year.
3. The fee hike notification should be notified to the parents by January each year. So incase the parents feel they cannot afford the fees, they will have adequate time to scout for an another school.
4. Commercialization of schools should be reduced.

I am not sure if this is the correct forum for such complaints. If not I would appreciate if you could guide me to a proper place for highlighting the plight of parents like me.

I had admitted My son and daughter in Delhi Public School, Pinjore, Haryana,
on 31st March 2007, in Hostel, they were there for the month of April and due
to many Problems they were facing there of which I Personally talked to the
attendent every Sunday, when I visited to meet my Babies, The Problems were
unattended whole month.
I informed them in 1st week of May, that I want to withdraw the admission and
children will not be back in july, by Phone and email, than i personally went to
pinjore to complete the formalities, for all this time and still I am following them
for the refund of security deposit and imprest a/c money, also requested them
to deduct a nominal amount and return the rest of the money since the seats
were filled immediately after we left.
The amount we paid was 1, 24, 000 + 1200 for each child, total 2, 50, 400 Rs.
Still we have no response from their side, we have not received a single penny
till yet, The break up of fees is as follows:

Registration fee :1200/- Rs.
Admission Fees: 20000/-Rs.
Development Charges :20000/-

Dear Sir/Madam,

I would like to draw your attention that my family lives in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. I have 2 daughters aged 8 yrs and 3 yrs. I am trying my daughter's admission in DPS -Indirapuram since 2007 but school staff has never entertained us. Since we live in opposite to Delhi public shcool, Indirapuram and we want our kids should study in same school. It would be easy for child to syudy in the school which in close visinity of house. This helps in less travelling time and avoid traffic hassels.

My daughter is very good in study and we asked school management to see our child. School has always told us that there is no vacancy, still I found there were some admission in class-II last year.

We have submitted our application this year for class-III, still there is no consideration. I request you to look in the matter. Since I go out of station many a times/month and family lives alone. My humble request is to look in to my case.

I shall be highly thankful.
