Delhivery — Non pick up of prepaid shipment

On 23 May, through the company’s website I had booked a parcel for pickup from Siliguri to be delivered to Chandigarh. PIN code of both source and destination locations was fed in the website and accordingly cost calculated was paid. This was an amount of ₹ 491 which was made through Google Pay transaction id CICAgKiohYu2NA and UPI transaction id[protected] at 1329 hrs. At 1430 hrs confirmation msg was received on my registered mobile number through text and WhatsApp confirming payment the shipment order number “ Delhivery Direct order AWB[protected] “ was shared with me. There was no call received yesterday and today till 1500 hrs approximately. On calling their customer support number only automated IVRS system plays prerecorded menu. No ticket number is generated and shared with customer. However a message saying a call will be made within two hours was spoken by the IVRS system. Sadly post three hours also there was no attempt to call and address the issue. Only a message is sent on registered mobile number separating what IVRS system replies. And a text message followed after sometime saying your order was not ready while no call was made to pick up my order. On redialing the customer support the same loop played. The company takes money in advance but pays no heed to requirement of a customer and fails the urgency which the consumer has. Very sad state of affairs.
