Delhivery Lost My Express Parcel with Urgent Documents – No Accountability, Delayed Response.

I am filing this complaint against Delhivery Limited, a logistics and courier company, for mishandling and ultimately losing my express shipment containing important original documents. My experience has been extremely frustrating, negligent, and unprofessional.

Service Type: Express Delivery (2–3 day delivery time promised)

Origin: Pune

Destination: Gurgaon

Timeline of Events:
May 14: I booked the express shipment with Delhivery due to the urgency and importance of the documents.

May 15–19: The shipment remained stuck in Pune with no updates or movement. Repeated attempts to get help from customer support failed — no live agent, no escalation, just automated responses.

May 20: I personally visited Delhivery’s warehouse in Pune — 27 km from my home — hoping to retrieve information. To my shock, I was casually told “your parcel is lost and cannot be delivered.”

There was no proactive communication, no explanation, no apology, and no resolution provided. The express shipment that was supposed to be delivered in 3 days has now been officially declared lost after 6 days, and only because I went physically to investigate.

Issues Faced:
Severe negligence in handling an express shipment.

Lack of transparency and updates during transit.

No option to speak to a human customer care agent.

I had to personally visit the warehouse to even get a response.

No compensation, written response, or help offered till date.

My professional commitments are now delayed because of this failure.

Relief Sought:

Written confirmation of the parcel loss for legal and professional records.

Monetary compensation for the value of the documents and time-sensitive damage caused.

Investigation into the cause of the loss and accountability for mishandling.

Assurance that proper SOPs are followed to avoid this in the future.

This level of irresponsibility from a logistics company is unacceptable, especially when consumers trust them with important documents. I request urgent redressal and action on this complaint.
