Delhivery — Parcel lost and no update from Delhivery

I placed a return on www.adidas.co.in. The Delhivery guy refuse to pick up the return in first attempt. We placed the return again and the same person showed up for pick-up, this time he picked up the parcel.

He came back to my door after half an hour saying "Keep this item with you, I'll come back tomorrow for pick-up". We refused to take it back.

There is no update on where my product is right now and the Delhivery website is showing "Pick-up pending".
