Dell India — Faulty product | |||
I have purchased Dell Inspiron 3148 with Service Tag 9F98M52 on date:[protected]. Within 12 days of nominal usage I have been facing different issues. I contacted Dell Support and they provided support and the issue was resolved (temporarily). Now when I run complete system health test, Hard drive is faulty. I contacted Dell Support again and this time call was routed to Gurgaon center. Agent was so rude with low communication skills and less customer friendly. He was behaving like he has no concern for customer it is my fault that I have purchased Dell and now I have to suffer further consequences. He did all the test and found that Hard drive is faulty. He confirmed that Hard drive is faulty and would be replaced and asked me to create a copy of my Genuine Windows. I told him that I cannot do it as I am not techie. So, may be after consulting his supervisor he told me that he would raise a request to provide me USB with Windows in it and engineer would come and replace the Hard drive. To my surprise, I received a call from their third party service center and they told me that they do not have hard drive available with them and not sure when we would be receiving it. I again contacted Dell to tell about it and again same Agent is saying that “what can I do if hard drive is not available with them and hung up on me. I am screwed now don’t know what to do further. I tried to escalate the matter further and surfed their website for escalations, but did not find any email/ phone. Please advise. Was this information helpful? | |||
