I had ordered a Dell Inspiron Laptop using the Dell India portal on Sunday 3rd July 2022. While placing the order I got an error message however the amount got debited from my bank account. The customer sales person assured me the issue will get resolved. However on Sunday no technical support or finance person was available. The sales rep called me the next day (4th July) and manually submitted the order. However status of the order was showing as received even on Tuesday 5th July. After calling the customer care number I was assured this is being looked into by the finance department and the order status will change to confirmed. After multiple followups again on 7th and 8th July I was informed it will get cleared end of day. Today I received an email asking to send proof that the amount got debited from my account. I have never experienced such poor customer experience in my life and certainly did not expect this from a company like Dell. While I will go ahead to share further proof I am not sure now if my payment has got stuck in some bureaucratic loop hole in Dell. Also now not sure of the quality of the product itself if this is the importance given to customer while placing orders. Was this information helpful? |
