Dell India — Pathetic service, cheating and mental & physical harassment

I am deeply disturbed by the pathetic and unprofessional practices of dell customer care services.Buying a dell laptop was the biggest mistake of my life.If Dell doesn't have capability to fix faulty laptop, it should stop selling laptops and cheating the customers.It seems like whole the service team and engineers of Dell are fraud and irresponsible.

I had bought dell inspiron 3148 laptop 3 months ago. I had issues with the LCD of the laptop, mousepad was not responsive, power button of the laptop did't work when charger was connected and there were some more small issues
. For the first time Dell engineer visited my place on 14/01/16 to replace lcd, while replacing LCD he damaged motherboard.My laptop became dead.
On 25/01/16 another engineer from dell visited my place and replaced Motherboard, Mousepad, LCD back cover. Since from then the LCD touchscreen is not working and there is a gap between LCD cover and LCD. On 30/01/16 one of dell engineer revisited my place to review this problem and assured me that they will replace whole the LCD assembly, Palmrest, Mousepad, Exaust fan and ac adapter and it will fix the problem.
On 8/02/16 another Engineer from came to my place and replaced Palmrest, Exaust Fan and Ac adapter. He told me that "Dell has sent only LCD and LCD Cover, not the other cables of the LCD assembly, so he will hold LCD and LCD cover with him and request other cables. Once the edp cables will be received by him, he will replace the whole LCD assembly and it will fix the LCD problems."
But on 15/0216 one of engineer from dell came only with LCD cables. He didn't had LCD and LCD cover with him. His manager talked to me and told that she will ask Previous about the LCD and LCD cover, and call me after 5 minutes. I didnt received any call from them
When I contacted Dell tech support, they sent the same engineer next day with same parts to replace. But it didn't resolve the issue.
The dell team assured me that they will send all the necessary parts and a very good engineer next time to resolve the issue.

But next time again for the 7th time they sent some illiterate kind of engineer who replaced LCD again but could not resolve the issue.

Dell escalation team talked to me and told me to give laptop to their service centre and assured me that they will resolve the issue in 4-5 days, and return me the laptop.

Following their suggestion I gave my laptop to service centre. It has been 15 days now, each time I call them they tell me it will take 4-5 days more.


it seems like my voice is going in deaf ears.It has been almost 2 months but still Dell could not resolve the issues. Each time dell guys are making fake promises and cheating me.Dell is only wasting my time, money and energy. I bought the laptop for using it and not for keeping it as a show piece or throwing it in your service centre.

I'm literally tired and disappointed by their service facility. I am feeling like being cheated and harassed.
