I am writing to follow up on my service requests regarding the battery performance of my newly purchased Dell laptop. The details of my requests are as follows:

• Service Request No:[protected]through WhatsApp)
On July 19, 2024, I purchased a Dell 5530 model laptop (Batch BDMJJZ3). However, I have been facing significant issues with the battery backup. On July 21, 2024, I sought support via WhatsApp, and Mr. Harmeet provided remote assistance. The support team has been very cooperative and tried their best to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, the issue remains unresolved.
Mr. Harmeet informed me during our last remote session that my system was shipped with a 3-cell battery, 1-cell battery which provides only 20-25 minutes of backup. This information, as shown in the attached chat screenshot, suggests that there might be a manufacturing defect or another issue related to Dell.
Considering the exigency of the situation, I urge for either a replacement of the battery associated with my laptop's configuration or a new laptop altogether. Today, I have deposited the laptop at the Microchip store from where it was purchased on July 19, 2024, as it fails to serve its intended purpose.
I would like to emphasize the critical nature of this matter as I have recently enrolled in B.Sc in Computational Biology at Jan University, Bangalore, where online classes are currently ongoing. It is imperative for me to travel to Bangalore and join the classes physically by August 2, 2024. The continued disruption caused by the faulty laptop battery poses a severe hindrance to my academic pursuits.
Enclosed with this email, please find a copy of the purchase bill for your reference and review. Your prompt attention and resolution to this issue would be greatly appreciated, helping alleviate the distress caused by this unfortunate situation.
