Dell Laptop/feedback/tech Issues — Dell Laptops model Precision 5510 and XPS 15 9560

Sub: Dell Laptops models Dell Precision 5510 and XPS 15 9560 as displayed on the screen

Hello, Dell team,
GM from India!
The laptops were used by my nephew. But both of these laptops experienced varying issues over a period of time. I give below the issues experienced/observed, action taken and changes observed.
1.Dell Precision 5510 as displayed on the screen, but model was not shown in System details. (The bottom label showed model as XPS 15 9500, Service tag 41SW7G3)
Its battery (Part no. XHJ[protected]) got swelled and the laptop was operated on mains via adapter. The laptop was working with one drive C only. On using for a period of time, the unit was getting heated up and cursor was found moving at random out of control.
Hence, we got the battery replaced with new one, tried to get formatted and partitioned to at least 2 drives.
But to our surprise, it could be partitioned to just about 10 GB of drive D only out of total storage 900/1000GB, laptop was found working alright with the new battery. But when it is connected to main supply, battery gets recharged. After about 20-30 minutes, the laptop starts getting heated up on keeping connected to main supply and starts erratic movement of the cursor. Now the model is not shown on the display screen. System details (which was not showing model number earlier) show the model as XPS 15 9500, as per the bottom label.
2.Dell laptop XPS 15 9560 as displayed on the screen, no model was shown in system details, bottom label shows model as XPS 15 9550, Service tag 29QCL72.
This unit was working alright on mains, battery was found fully discharged, but with only one drive.
We got the battery (XHJ [protected] or XU[protected] replaced with new one and was got formatted and partitioned in 2 drives.
Now the unit is working both on battery and mains. Model display on the screen is not seen but is seen in the system details as XPS 15 9550.
Finally, the question is how to resolve the issues in:
A) Dell laptop Precision 5510, service code 41SW7G3:
1. the issue of change of model number by itself after formatting and partition (I feel it is something to do with formatting) from Precision 5510 to XPS 15 9500,
2. the issue of heating up and erratic movement of the cursor, in use when connected to main supply for recharging.
B) Dell laptop XPS 15 9560, service tag 29QCL72:
1.the issue of change of model number from XPS 15 9560 to XPS 15 9550, service code 29QCL72 by itself as per bottom label.
Hope to get a quick response.
Thanks, and regards.
