Dell — Request for Battery Replacement Under Warranty Due to Rapid Battery Health Degradation

Within just two months of purchase, my battery health has dropped from 100% to 93%. What concerns me the most is that it dropped by 6% in just the last two days of normal use, and the total battery health loss has reached 7% in only 43 charge cycles. Along with this, the battery backup has reduced significantly and now lasts only around 1 hour even in Battery Saver mode with light usage.

I have already visited the Dell Service Centre multiple times regarding this issue. Each time, the technicians checked the battery and acknowledged that the health is currently showing 93% (Excellent), but they informed me that they cannot replace it because it falls within Dell's policy. Unfortunately, despite making several visits, I have not received any solution. It feels as though I am being made to suffer for choosing a Dell laptop, even though I trusted the Dell brand and purchased this laptop with high expectations.

I am extremely frustrated by the continuously degrading battery health and the very poor battery backup. Every day I worry that the battery health will keep dropping further. This experience has caused me significant stress, especially because I rely on this laptop for my studies.

As a student from a lower-income family, purchasing this laptop was a major financial investment for me. I saved for a long time to buy a Dell laptop because I believed it would provide reliable quality and support. I never expected to experience such rapid battery degradation within just two months, nor did I expect to make repeated trips to the service centre without any resolution.

I sincerely request that you please review my case as an exception and arrange for a battery replacement under warranty. A 7% battery health loss in only 43 charge cycles, including a sudden 6% drop in just two days, along with the noticeable reduction in battery backup, does not appear to be normal behavior.

I humbly request you to kindly consider my situation with empathy and investigate this issue thoroughly. I am requesting your support because I genuinely need help resolving this problem. I would be sincerely grateful if you could approve a battery replacement under warranty.
