DGCA — Complaint against Indigo Airlines - Refund received partially - Ticket No: WWFPSK

Respected Sir,

I have booked 3 air tickets for the date 14.04.2020 vide PNR / booking Ref. No. WWFPSK / Booking dt 11.01.2020. Due to COVID 19 situation I come to understand that our Honorable Govt. of India was going to announce for a complete lockdown and also the airline authorities informed me about the change of flight time to overnight then I cancelled that ticket on 21.03.2020.

The full amount of ticket was Rs.18, 666/-. On cancellation they refunded me only Rs.8, 916/-. They deducted Rs.9750/- for my ticket as cancellation fee.

Now I come to understand that as per respected DGCA circular dtd 07.10.2020, I am eligible for full refund amount since it was during the lockdown period.

I have approached the Indigo authorities for my eligible refund of rupees Rs.9750/-. But they rejected my request as I had cancelled the ticket just before lockdown announcement.

Sir, Please advice the Indigo authorities for my eligible refund. I am here by enclosing the copy of concerned mail for the time change.
