Poor facilities at international departures terminal at rgia hyderabad - reg

1. This is to explain our bitter experience of this morning when we went to see off my daughter & grand children going to atlanta by ba.

2. There was no indication about new ‘international departure terminal’ enroute, because of which we landed at ‘ domestic departure terminal’ and have to move our luggage by walk ; first coming down by lift then pushing the trolley quite a distance (Both o[censored]s +70 years & 75 yrs) through road and ramp.

3. Passengers are also being dropped in the open, away from the terminal. There is no overhead cover and if there was rain we had it (Luckily only drizzles). I don’t know how such a terminal was approved to be functional without fully completed.

4. There was not even a proper booth for selling entry tickets to gallery (Rs.100/ per head). A person was standing in the open with a vending machine for issuing entry tickets. One thing good is that in earlier gallery there were no toilets; now there are toilets inside viewers gallery. There are no chairs or benches for sr citizens/ladies to rest for a while.

5. We paid parking charges of rs.150 for less than one hour. I consider that it is very much on higher side. Is it the approved rate by dgca?

6. I earnestly request for review of the situation/functioning of ‘international departure terminal.
