Dhl Couriers — Complaint regarding Fraud in Customs Duty and other charges. | |||
Hello, I have booked a parcel from Pune (India) for Kenya on 5th May. Tracking ID: [protected] Parcel contained 8 SOLAR lamps and Total Invoice for the items were USD 96. But DHL charged more than USD 100 for customs clearance and other miscellaneous charges. These charges are infact more than value of items. I have received the DHL Invoice and Receipt today from Kenya customer so wanted to escalate this. There has been dirty work done at the crossroads and someone intentionally tried to do that to make quick money. Kenya and other African countries are making a special effort to promote renewable energy devices and I cannot believe that they would charge more than 100% of Invoice value in terms of all these duties and Government fees for these SOLAR lamps.
