DHL Express India — making money in the name of warehouse charges | |||||
Dhl india has a standard clearance charge of rs 500.00 + gst. However, they are making extra money in the name of bonded storage fees. Dhl india states, if the package doesn't clear within 3 days of arrival, they charge addition rs 500 as storage fees. We import through ups, fedex, aramex as well but none of them had additional warehousing charges in cases of delay. Dhl india has very unfair method of making money, in fact this is a loot. Below are the tracking nos for which we have paid additional rs 500 + gst as bonded storage fees. 1. [protected] 2. [protected] There are more shipments coming through dhl india which has been delayed at customs and we fear that dhl india may also add bonded storage fees to those incoming packages. I agree. I had similar experience recently with DHL. SO much that I had to ask them to return it to the place from where it was dispatched.
