[Resolved]  DHL Express India — Package clearance harassment

My package [protected] from finland was suppose to be delivered long back. My parcel is of various small art prints which i ordered from a website. On my number two emails are attached both has my id verified and approved long back. I had uploaded my aadhar card in 2018. I put the same address on my package as it is on my id card. Just on what basis they have the right to reject my document! For more than two weeks through their constant messages, they harassed me and kept on rejecting my address. The clearance department of the company is of no use. They even sent me a copy at my house address asking me upload the verification documents. For days they kept on stretching to keep on rejecting and after numerous calls they finally are like okay we will approve. Then they kept on mailing me to give me some proof of payment. So i mailed them the proof. That was also not enough, they ask me fill the excel sheet. That excel sheet has no meaning but they just don't want to clear my package. Even after submitting they want me to sent the excel in pdf. They don't want to intentionally clear my package so they can't earn money by applying extra warehouse charges. Its not the first time they doing, last time also they kept my order and has to pay a lot. After reading a lot of customer reviews, i believe they are doing this with many customers. Not only this is a harassment to customers but the morale of the company is so pathetic. Holding on to small packages for these kind of reasons, this should be taken seriously & held responsible.

Really its horrible! The DHL is really harresing it's customer. I have already sent my address proof as well as photo ID in original scanned format against AWB- [protected] still then the kyc team rejecting it. I don't know why? Everything is ok but they are not working. This is my first experience with dhl India and probably the last.
Looks like its a practice that DHL India is following. There are thousands of customers who are complaining of overcharging and harassment including me. They are even using to COVID situation to carry out their malpractice. I am a victim of their harassments where I had shipped my stuff from UK to india last year in Feb and they delayed the processing and clearance under the pretext of COVID-19 and are asking for Rs 75K for warehouse charges. They have also taken my Passport for the clearance and have not yet returned it back. With all my stuff and important documents they can use all the arm twisting techniques that they can and I have to remain helpless. Is there anyone who is taking a not of this and can any action be taken against this blood sucking organization?
