My package from my husband in the us arrived in india on aug 12th, i have been on call with dhl almost every single day since 12th aug. They were very poor in providing an update and guiding the customer through the clearing process. My shipment had mostly eatables and few other items like innerwear/sunglasses&few kitchen accessories. One of the item being a meat product (Which is restricted in india) my husband dint know this at the time of shipping, however the re-packing of all the items was done by the dhl agent itself and didn't mention anything about the restrictions of certain items in india. After so many requests and writing emails, my shipment has not been cleared by customs and dhl has done nothing about this. This is huge financial loss for us as the total cost is $600 (Items+shipping cost). Just because of one item my package is not cleared and sent to ds location. Nobody from dhl has got back to me about this.
If only dhl had told us about the restricted items we wouldn't have gone through this emotional stress and the financial loss. I would like to have dhl refund the amount that we have lost please

    Dhl express is not delivering at time, doing late, taking so much time, about 15 days, and the staffs are also telling lies that it will come today but it not come and again we are calling they are telling tomorrow, tomorrow but not delivering, and also sending lie email.

      My package [protected] from finland was suppose to be delivered long back. My parcel is of various small art prints which i ordered from a website. On my number two emails are attached both has my id verified and approved long back. I had uploaded my aadhar card in 2018. I put the same address on my package as it is on my id card. Just on what basis they have the right to reject my document! For more than two weeks through their constant messages, they harassed me and kept on rejecting my address. The clearance department of the company is of no use. They even sent me a copy at my house address asking me upload the verification documents. For days they kept on stretching to keep on rejecting and after numerous calls they finally are like okay we will approve. Then they kept on mailing me to give me some proof of payment. So i mailed them the proof. That was also not enough, they ask me fill the excel sheet. That excel sheet has no meaning but they just don't want to clear my package. Even after submitting they want me to sent the excel in pdf. They don't want to intentionally clear my package so they can't earn money by applying extra warehouse charges. Its not the first time they doing, last time also they kept my order and has to pay a lot. After reading a lot of customer reviews, i believe they are doing this with many customers. Not only this is a harassment to customers but the morale of the company is so pathetic. Holding on to small packages for these kind of reasons, this should be taken seriously & held responsible. Now they want me to pay rs 4830 in the name of import charges? Is this much charges applied for a package which is not even 1kg and contains art print not even actual art, just a piece of paper. Is this even fair?

        My friend send a courier as a surprise gift to my new office address. I have uploaded my office I'd card as address proof.. They rejected it by telling the receiver address is not exactly matching.. They are not even telling an alternative solution to get the parcel delivered.. Very bad customer service.. We are living in a world of solutions for each an everything.. Am afraid if my parcel gets lost.. It is not in safe hands

          Address: India DHL courier service

          My friend send a courier to my new office address.. I have providedy employee ID card with address mentioned, they rejected it by telling the receiver address is not exactly matching.. They not even considering a solution.. Very bad customer service.. Am afraid if my parcel gets lost.. Its in unsafe hands

            IGST Paid against AWB No.[protected], dated 30/7/2019 & AWB [protected] is not uploaded / updated in GST Portal. Complaint sent to Sr.Vice President and Vice President. Received a reply from Mr. Sunil Mishra that our complaint forwarded to Finance team long ago. After that there is no reply / response to our mails.

              DHL is the worst service ever we can opt for.
              Paid 1000$ for shipping house hold items and one UHD tv from US to INDIA.
              Recieved COMPLETELY BROKEN TV and except from clothes all the house items were missing in another box.
              Paid customs charges 8000/- and delivery charges 3000/- additionally
              People who ever wants to send couriers internationally

                Why does dhl not charge a extra covid charge and deliver the goods in time ?

                why does your esteemed company resort to such unfair practices of generating warehouse charges unnecessarily and delaying urgent goods delivery to a customer ?

                you have charged me rs 2595.92 as warehouse charges for no error on our part. Infact the delay in delivering the consignment is fully on dhl express india.

                The awb is [protected] dated 26 june 2020.And the invoice number is bom789926 dated 14 july 2020.

                  You have received a courier from her majesty's passport office uk. From amrita kanda but the address that it shows on the courier is for british high commission delhi, and as i do not live at that address it is impossible for me to provide proof of residence, please can you let me know what other documents i can provide to clear customs, as i am a british citizen i can provide proof i'd id with my name and address but i cannot provide proof of indian address please look into this and get back to me on email [protected]@yahoo.co.                     This is regarding waybill [protected]. I'm receiving a gift, kids toy, and value is less than rs5000 and i have not made any payment for the product, the company is sending this product as compliment and its value is way less than that of permissible gift amount.

                    According to foreign trade act, the government has exempted customs for gift items received and this doesn't include the shipping charges borne by sender and it allows products worth up to rs10000 received as gift.
                    It is disappointing and very unfortunate that dhl is charging customs rs8015.97 which is more than the value of the shipment.

                    Moreover dhl is not sharing any basis for this excess customs and threatening me with additional warehouse charges if i do not make payment. There has been no response from customer care.

                    The customs charges are more than product value and dhl is showing unruly attitude towards customer and is black mailing me in paying the charges. This is totally disappointing even after dhl has charged a premium on shipping.

                      I have sent the asset-laptop belonging to cummins india from auckland in march 2020 (Initial airway bill no awb [protected] which was changed later by dhl to [protected]). (Due to my resignation from cummins india). I have been trying to obtain clearance of this laptop since march. However, inspite of providing all required documentation, the authorities are not releasing it. I have sent number of emails, but no one is responding. So, today i sent my cha to dhl customs clerance office in mumbai today, but the security did not allow him inside to meet the officers. He intended to meet the officers to understand the situation and know what could be done to clear it. I am really disappointed at the service provided by a world renowned company like dhl. I request you to look into this matter urgently and expedite the release of laptop which belongs to cummins india. Pl convey your response on [protected]@gmail.com

                        I ordered casio protrek watch from "discovery japan" on 01 july 2020 because that model of the watch was not available on any website. On 04 july, the watch was shipped from japan and on 05 july, it was delivered to dhl centre at delhi. I was contacted by dhl kyc on 07 july about address proof. I deposited my pan card image, aadhar card image. But, i was going to available at a relative's address at the time of delivery. I submitted a certificate that i will be available at that address for courier delivery. I sent signed certificate. Since then, i have tried numerous times but to no avail. Daily, my email is bombarded by emails from dhl for kyc procedure. Such bombardment also happens in the form of daily sms. Now, contacting dhl customer care is difficult and time consuming. Even then, i have filed numerous complaints at dhl to call me. They call anytime. At time, when i am doing some personal work, gym etc. They were even requested by my relative to call me in 20 minutes. But the call never came. Thus dhl employee team lacks care for its customers. I bought this watch for rs 29, 957.44. But dhl does not have adequate concern for its customers. My courier awb is [protected]. I hope that after lodging this complaint, positive results unfold i. E. I recieve my watch asap.

                          Dear sir/madam,

                          Kindly look into this and can you please explain how come my price of the product and the customs duty are the same. Please look into this and do the needful. You are charging way too much for the customs.
                          The exact value of the item is rs. 4, 416 and customs is charging me with rs, 4, 538 why is the product price and the customs duty are the same. Please look into this and contact me as soon as possible on the priority basis it would be really helpful.

                            As per Reserve bank of India norms we have to submit bill of entry to the bank from where payment is done after the shipment reaches India.Now in this case we have to get letter from customs department that the bill of entry cannot be filed as the material has been lost and no more liability is there of jjsales .As the matter is delayed our banker is following us.

                            You had sent us checklist to verify .please can you tell on what basis you sent us the checklist.Did you sent the material to customs warehouse?

                            You have written that the material was untraceable in delhi.Its not clear.

                            Please give the exact location from where the material went missing.We require the tracking of the material from Germany to India and from Delhi Airport (ACC) to which Warehouse. We want to know exactly from which place it went missing.

                            Also please share the name and contact details of the incharge who was handling our consignment on 19/03/2020.Please arrange for a call to [protected].

                            We are waiting for your reply.Please do not reply vaguely.

                            We gave the responsiblity to DHL to bring the material upto Bhopal and so DHL cannot run away from any responsiblity .

                            Either we require the material or we require the cost of material.And we require all the documents from Customs also.This is your responsiblity to get us the documents as you are our freight forwarder.We have a
                            import -export yearly contract with DHL.

                              Hi sir this is to inform you that i have studied online course and the education originl certificate is arriving from usa. The dhl asked for address proof..i submit the pg address proof the rent, receipt, electricity bill.. Everything is been rejected. They are asking to stamp on the receipt.. I ask pg owner but they dont have a stamp.. I am very worried my original certificate is with dhl.. If they will not give my certificate they will destroy my future.                                 Would like to complain on the delay of process at every step with no clear information being shared with the customer which one is entitled for.

                                From the beginning once the parcel reached india, there was no clear email or instructions given (English all over the place to be precise in the email).
                                Not sure if this is done on purpose to delay things and charge customer for section 48 or other charges.
                                I have repeatedly called customer service and emailed atleast 20+ emails to understand the process and the steps involved however nothing is made transparent.

                                  I hema thourani, residing 702, valencia building, supreme palacio s no : 29/2 baner, pune 411045 has been sent courier containing medicine to usa to mrs. Amita mamtani 6524 kenneth ave lincolnwood, illinoi 60712 on[protected] bearing dhl awb no :[protected] from dhl office pune by paying courier charges for rs. 5398/- on june 3rd 2020 mrs. Amita has been received mail from (Alana. [protected]@dhl.com) informing that shipment is returning to origin by bearing awb no : [protected] due to non clearance of documents. But whatever documents they asked we have sent them timely. Even though without considering us they have returned the medicine to the origin. From that day itself we are continuously chasing them for our shipment. After a long time on[protected] we received the notification that shipment under clearance and request to pay import duty for rs. 10203.58. Here am not understand why should i pay this amount for your fault, am not ask to return the material to origin. Request to kindly do the needful to get back out parcel.

                                    I have sent a a pacel for personal usage of my sister through dhl express on 10 th of june from newzealand to india. I have given all the kyc documents also which are required. Still it has not been delivered and even one dhl clearance support agent name rajesh kushwaha is calling on my parents contact no. And asking for 20, 000 rs directly as a custom charges and clearance fees for parcel. Even they are threatning us that if this amount is not paid in the given time then we will get penality of more rs 5000 on it and not able to get our parcel. The goods which i have sent are personal usage goods there money value is less than the custom fees that is demanded by the agent. Even the agent is asking for my parents bank details. How can my parents share their bank related private details with some unknown person. Already frustrated and my parents feeling harassed due to all this daily pressurization from dhl clearance team. Please help to sought this matter.
