Drivezy — excess penalty charged for late drop of the rented vehicle

I rented a scooty honda activa on 7th june, 2019 from drivezy for one month at a price of rs. 3300. The drop time of vehicle was suppose to be 7th july, 2019 as i rented for a month. Then around 4-5th july, i tried to extend my ride by one week and tried to make a payment of rs. 700 around something. The payment got failed for some reason and i didn't notice that the payment got failed as after making the payment i didn't even think of seeing the success screen and just assumed that my rent has been extended since i was in hurry to make for my office meeting. Now this ignorance cost me on 11th july around 6 pm when i noticed that my vehicle time was never extended. I tried calling customer care but they are never helpful. Then i tried checking my transactions that whether or not i made a successful transaction for the extension. But actually this was the time when i realised that the payment must have got failed the other day when i was trying to extend the vehicle. Now when i went to drop the vehicle, they charged me a late penalty of rs 7446 for 4 days which is infact twice the amount charged for whole month which was just rs. 3300. I requested them to lower the penalty as it was a mistake from my end. And also told them that i am regular and a loyal customer of drivezy, so please lower my charge penalty. But they still didn't help me and forced me to pay the whole penanlty amount. Then i asked them why didn't they callled after the second day i. E 8th of july if i got delayed by a whole day because usually these people will call you a hundred of times if you delay the vehicle drop even by a single hour. Then they shouted over me that it is not our job to remind you which i agreed but i told them that you people usually call the customers if they delay the vehicle drop even by an hour and if they had called me then i would have saved a lot of money. Then they said they kept sending me lot of sms and emails about the delay. I replied by telling them that i didn't receive even a single sms or an email because if i did then i would have surely dropped the vehicle in time.
Then they said that this cannot happen because if this was the case then they would sure waive off my penalty. I tried to explain them that i really didn't receive any sms or email and why would i tell lies. Then they again shouted over me telling me that the problem must be the network service provider and kindly check with them. I then immediately called the airtel customer care people and asked them if they can provide with any information whether or not i received any sms from drivezy company, but airtel people said they do not have any information about the sms.

Ultimately i had to make the payment of rs. 7446 which was too huge amount. But am surely not convinced with the way i was treated by the customer care people of drivezy company and also about the lies that they sent me messages and emails. But even if they did send me sms or emails, i had the proof that i didn't receive any, then as per a good company they should have understood my situation and helped me by lowering the penalty amount.

I just seek a refund of the penalty amount from them as i think that was surely not a justified incident with me.
