This post is about DTDC Express Limited and how they lost a courier of mine in November 2021. My cousin bought me a coach bag and sent it through his friend who came to Hyd. The friend sent the bag to me by DTDC Express Limited and he didn't know the value so he put it as Rs 500. DTDC lost the courier and when I sent them the actual bill of the bag (Rs 11000) and other details, they tell me they will pay me only Rs 500. Should I take legal action?
They lost the courier and took one month to tell me they lost it. Aren't they responsible? One of their own employees could have stolen it. And I have been running behind them since November 20, 2021 to get this resolved. And this is the answer I get when I called them today. they did not even bother to call me and update me. The woman talking to me - Usha - has also been downright rude and talking to me like she is doing me a favour.
If they say the value was wrong, then when they booked the courier at Hyd, they didn't ask? Why didn't they ask? if they don't have rigorous controls how can they blame the people? I have lost a Rs 11000 product because of DTDC Express Limited. Is DTDC not responsible then?
If you are in the customer service business, do not treat your customers like rubbish. Own up to your mistake and reimburse the customer. Was this information helpful? |
