I was informed that, I will be receiving the above important courier through DTDC from sender. With the help of online tracking, I used to track the courier status everyday. On 16/11/2019, I saw the status like it is 'Out For Delivery'(Updated around 13:55 Hrs). I was waiting for the courier after viewing the status and didn't got any call/message about that till 6.30 P.M. After that, I began searching online DTDC local numbers and called them. Most of the numbers are not reachable. And finally reached(after so many attempts they picked finally) to my respective area courier number([protected]). And they told, mobile number is not specified in the courier and the address is not clear in the courier. Actually, the address specified in the courier(sender shared the snapshot of the address specified in the envelop cover) is same used for all purposes and never faced any return issue before. I updated them with my mobile number to update in the courier. They asked me whether I will be able to pick from Ambattur head office in another 30 minutes. I informed, without two wheeler it is difficult to reach the place in 30 minutes.
So, I requested them to please send the courier on Monday(18/11/2019) and please inform me ahead. So, that I can plan accordingly. But today(18/11/2019), they updated the status as 'RTO process is Initiated' for the courier on Monday morning without any call/message(I was even subscribed to my mailid for the updates) and 'Not Delivered' status on saturday(16/11/2019) night(21:00 hrs). I called and asked for a update, they were again telling the address is incorrect and RTO is initiated.
So, it is really frustrating and bad experience with DTDC.
