DTDC Courier & Cargo — DTDC courier online UPI Fraud

I would like to bring to you kind attention that I was a victim of online UPI fraud through phone call pretending to be DTDC customer service agent.

I’m a senior citizen residing in vasai. I was following it up my DTDC shipment from Dubai. I made couple of calls to DTDC courier office to inquire about my shipment. I received a call stating that he is a customer service agent from DTDC & our shipment is in Andheri office & due to address miss-match shipment could not be delivered. If I update the correct address the shipment would be deliver with in 2 hours to our address. I told him it’s little urgent can I visit your office, but he denied saying that I would be deliver to you address you just need to update address form. Upon further inquiry, they send me google form which I filled completely & also a payment of Rupee 5/- as charges which I did with google pay.

After around 1 hour later a back to back 5 debit transaction of around 100000 took place & my money debited from bank of baroda account.

I blocked my google pay & bank of baroda account immediately but the fraudster still repeated calling me different number & using bad language to get more money.

I have visited vasai police station & gave a return complaint attached is form. Requesting the police department & concern unit to please help me recover my hard earn money from fraudster.
