For an item booked under express delivery from dtdc, origin from yelahanka, bangalore consisting sensitive material was destined to panagarh, west bengal.
The dtdc yelahanka accepted gladly the business coming to them, on promise that the pin code 713420 was serviceable by them, subsequently full payment was made for the promised services.
After the anticipated delay, on 4th day when the dtdc local partner called, it was to merely inform that the pin code to be delivered to was not serviceable and i was advised to pick up my package from the nearest point in the village where they were receiving it at the dtdc hub, with an open invitation from the host of services here at dtdc budbud to raise any complaint i wanted as they "will not deliver" the package under any circumstances.
Village budbud primarily thirves on the business generated by the residents of the cantonment families (Up to 99%) and this is the behaviour they present, with threats and open humiliation.
Extremely unpleasant an experience with dtdc.
Hope the harassment, mental agony suffered in the case will be taken on a strict note by the controlling authority in dtdc. Furthermore, channel partner should be educated not only in bubud (Panagarh, west bengal) but also yelahanka (Begaluru, karnataka) to not promise services that cannot be fulfilled.
The case will definitely be taken forward in consumer court too, for once the firm needs to understand the customer is the lifeblood and if the services promised cannot be fulfilled then the mere existence of the business is but futile. Was this information helpful? |
