I used DTDC courier service to send my laptop from Ropar to Pithoragarh.

I received the laptop on 6 March, with its whole body damaged.
Most probably because of the packaging as the edges were not covered with the bubble wrap. The service provider himself packed the item. Packaging was pretty bad.
I called the service provider and described everything. He replied after 3 days, that we have filed complaint and it will take about 3 months and wont even tell how much amount they will give as compensation.
I don't even know whether i will get any compensation.
Could this process get any faster?
The customer service told me to mail at support mail id, which just send me back the tracking info, nothing else.
I don't know what else can i do...
I would like them to repair the body or provide a fair compensation which will cover the whole damage as soon as possible.
