Dear Nodal Officer,
I am writing to escalate a serious issue regarding a failed flight booking attempt on platform EaseMyTrip.com on 04 August 2025, resulting in *unauthorized deductions of ₹5, 362 from my credit card and the wrongful utilization of two gift vouchers (worth ₹1, 000 each) without ticket confirmation.
# Incident Details:
1. *Booking Attempt*: Tried booking *Mumbai → Guwahati (04 August 2025) * via my laptop.
2. *Payment Failure*:
- Applied **Gift Card 1 (₹1, 000; Voucher: RWD[protected] ** → Payment page froze (screenshot attached).
- Retried with **Gift Card 2 (₹1, 000; Voucher: RWD[protected] ** → Page crashed again.
- Finally, **₹5, 362 was charged to my credit card* (screenshot attached).
3. **Result**: **No ticket was issued** despite all three deductions.
4. **Gift Card Exploitation**: As per their (EASE MY TRIP) T&C, gift cards cannot be redeemed once used—even for failed bookings. This appears to be a systemic flaw (or deliberate design) causing financial harm to customers.
I repeatedly contacted their customer care via phone—**no resolution or callback received**.
#Humble request:
I seek **immediate resolution within 7 days**:
1. **Full refund** of **₹5, 362** (credit card charge).
2. **Reinstatement or reimbursement** of both gift cards:
- **RWD[protected]₹1, 000)**
- **RWD[protected]₹1, 000)**
*(Total: ₹7, 362)*
3. **Written confirmation from easemytrip.com team ** of the resolution.
This incident reflects gross negligence in their (EASEMYTRIP) payment infrastructure and customer support. I trust you will rectify this urgently to avoid further action as i have to book my flight again for my family function and such injustice along with unauthorised use of gift cards will not be entertained. Please help on priority
