EaseMyTrip.com — Payment not refunded

I tried to book train ticket through easemytrip.com on 9th Jan 26. The ticket was not booked and an amount of Rs 1175.40 was deducted by easemytrip.com. The same was acknowledged by easemytrip.com and I was assured for the refund against Booking ID EMT[protected] within 5-7 business days. Till date easemytrip.com failed to refund the amount despite frequent follow ups.

As discussed during our telephonic conversation, we would like to inform you that the full refund for your train booking has now been successfully initiated. Earlier, due to a payment gateway error at the aggregator’s end, the refund could not be processed; however, the issue has now been resolved.

The refund has been processed to your original mode of payment and should reflect within 5–7 working days, subject to your bank’s processing timeline.
