[Resolved]  EaseMyTrip.com — No refund for ticket cancelled a month back

Address: St. Paul's Hr. Sec. School, Aizawl. Mizoram

(1) My ticket was cancelled by Indigo on 26 May 2024 due to cancellation of flight. I was informed that the refund would be received through the travel agent EaseMyTrip. Its over a month and there is no refund as yet.
Ticket booked on 6 May 2024 for Moses Saju Kuriyan, PNR J6B3FR, flight Guwahati to Aizawl

(2) I had to book yet another ticket by Indigo (PNR DSVZUC) as they did not reschedule my ticket. The booking was done through EaseMyTrip. Now Indigo has agreed to refund me the difference of amount for the ticket; again to be claimed through the travel agent

(3) The letter from indigo:
Dear Mr Kuriyan,

Thank you for writing to us.

We regret the inconvenience caused.

With reference to your mail, we would like to inform that we have provided a full refund under PNR-J6B3FR to your travel agency.

Also, we have processed a refund of INR 5, 600/- (fare difference of your cancelled and used reservation) under PNR-DSVZUC to your travel agency.

The amount will be reflected in the agency's account within 2 working days, please claim your refund from your travel agency post 2 working days.

We'd like to inform you that upon checking, we have received the refund from the airline. However, we have not yet received a refund request from your end. Please note that we always process refunds in accordance with the airline's fare rules.

To ensure security and prevent unauthorized cancellation requests, we have implemented a system where refund requests can be conveniently submitted through our self-service portal or app.

We kindly request you to visit our self-service portal and submit a refund request by selecting the appropriate reason ("My flight was cancelled by the airline") so that we can proceed with the refund accordingly.

Furthermore, we have made several attempts to contact you at your registered phone number but have been unable to reach you due to a lack of response. Please suggest a convenient time for us to call you via DM at +[protected], so we can assist you further with any queries you may have.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to resolving your concerns.
