Dear Sir/Madam,
I had booked a ticket for my son on Easemytrip on 15th Oct. 2024. The ticket was from Mumbai to London for 21st Nov 2024 on Air India flight AI 129 at Rs. 20821. I tried rescheduling the same to 27h Nov 2024 at 6.59 pm on 19th Nov. 2024 and paid Rs. 11601
I got mail at 7.44 pm and 7.45 pm for change in fare and hence request for additional amount and a link to pay the same for rescheduling explaining that the fare is dynamic and has gone up. I called Easemytrip at 8.47 pm and talked to Deepak Kashyap. Not happy with explanation of increase in fare, as both Easemytrip and Air India site were showing same old fare, I asked him to put me across to a senior. He assured a call back. He also agreed that the site has problem and is not showing correct updated fare. He had no explanation of why Air India site also was showing same old fare. The rescheduling amount was refunded at 8.26 pm.
Giving benefit of doubt to Easemytrip, tried rescheduling again at 9.05 pm for 19th Dec 2024. Again Rs. 11601 was charged for rescheduling.
I Received mails from Hamza (11.23 pm on 19th Nov), Mamta (7.45 am 20th Nov.) and Divya (11.03 am 20th Nov.) about being not able to reach me, but there was no mention of issue with 19th Dec 2024 rescheduling in them. Again received mail from Divya at 12.07 pm on 20th Nov discussing about fare difference of 27th Nov 2024 and reissue charges of 19500. But since the money for that was refunded and I had rescheduled for 19th Dec 2024 at Rs. 11601, I was not keen on booking a flight with higher price. There was no mail regarding any issue with 19th Dec 2024 booking. (All mail communication attached)
Received a call from Easemytrip on 21s Nov 12.23 pm about No show for originally booked flight of 21s Nov 2024 and asking me to directly reschedule with Airline as the 19th Dec 2024 flight had fare difference and did not get rescheduled. On checking why was it not communicated; I was told that Easemytrip tried calling me. Across all mails, they are avoiding answering way the mail was not sent (in situation of they not able to reach me on phone) if rescheduling did not happen due to fare difference, nor was a link for difference amount sent (the way it was done for 27th Nov 2024 flight and is a standard practice).
Unlike the money for rescheduling for 27th Nov 2024, which was credited back immediately due to fare difference, money for rescheduling for 19th Dec 2024 was credited on 21st Nov 2024 at 4.48 pm, long after 21st Nov 2024 (No show) flight departure time, giving me no idea about the status of 19h Dec 2024 rescheduling.
As the no show is as a result of deficiency of service on Easemytrip's part, I request you to refund me full amount against no show ticket.
