EaseMyTrip.com — Refund of cancelled flight ticket on medical ground

I am writing to bring to your attention an unresolved issue regarding a refund for a cancelled flight booking with the following details:
Booking ID : EMT[protected], Booking Date : Oct 18, 2024, PNR - 5435UG, Flight – Air Vistara, Delhi to Mumbai.
Please note that the ticket was booked under Medical Insurance Policy with Policy number[protected]/D-EMTPL/01/[protected],[protected], under which the cancellation of flight ticket has been requested with full refund.
Due to Medical issue, I cancelled the flight, as advised by the doctor, which necessitated the passenger not to travel. I have been informed the airlines about the cancellation of ticket on medical ground and submitted the doctor certificate for the same. AIR VISTARA by email dated 24/10/2024, has confirmed the same with following quote:
“We would like to inform you that we have already approved medical waiver and updated full remarks in your PNR number 5435UG. We would request you to get in touch with your travel agent to claim the refund by sharing the same email with them.”
Even after multiple followup with EASEMYTRIP and after submitting the confirmation mail of AIR VISTARA and Doctor certificate, the refund is not received. Only mail dated 26/10/2024 states that
“We acknowledge your cancellation request received on 10/23/2024 and would like to update you on the current status. The cancellation process has been initiated, and our team is diligently working to ensure a prompt resolution.”
Despite these refunds being confirmed by the airlines, I have yet to receive the refund amount from EasyMyTrip. I have made several attempts to resolve this matter through customer service channels, but the issue remains unresolved.
I kindly request your urgent intervention and assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that the refund owed to me is processed and credited to my account at the earliest convenience.
