I booked a cab on 27th Dec, 2013 from my office in Gurgaon cyberCity to IGI Airport (T3). the meter in the cab wasn't working, and when I asked the cab driver about the same, he said he has reset the meter (of the car odometer) to track the same. The distance from my office in Cyber City to the Airport is about 13kms, as this is not the first time I have taken a cab for same route. However, when we reached the airport, the cab driver asked for 550/- for arund 19-20 kms + toll etc. When I told him that the distance can not be 20kms, he said "Okay fir 15-16 kms ke hissab se de do", as if it is a sabzi-mandi. For god sake, this is not a bargaining platform. It is supposed to be a professional service provider. I ended up paying 100-120 odd rupees more than it should have been. However what is more important is that Easy Cab surely now has a dissatisfied user. Me and my family have been using EasyCab for a while now, however, this experience has shattered my trust on your organisation. Was this information helpful? |
