I have booked air ticket in AirInida flight from Easemytrip website I have raised cancellation request for AI-142 (Delhi to Chennai) on 30/12/2014 to cancel only one Adult to Easemytrip, they cancelled one adult ticket & also oneInfant ticket without my knowledge & refunded only the adult fare aftercancellation charges. I asked for updated new ticket, they told old ticket is stillvalid for travel & you can use the same. I was not aware about the Infant ticket cancellation by any chances. On 10/01/2015, In AirInida Boarding counter, my wife was denied to travel with Infant because of the Infantticket cancellation. In AirIndia boarding counter, they told that Infant ticket is also cancelled along with one Adult ticket & we refunded for one adult & one Infant ticket amount. I enquired about this to Easemytrip in phone by 1:00 pm, an executive from Easemytrip agreed that they mistakenly cancelled the Infant ticket, I asked how to proceed in this case, there is no prompt reply from them. After that I booked a new ticket in Jetairways 16:05 in Airport counterfor my Wife & son on the same day & they made travel. After a number of phone calls from my end, they themselves raised a cancellation request for Infant on 12/01/2015 (2 day after the journey date) & processed the refund for Infant. I asked Easemytrip to refund the ticket amount I paid for new ticket for my wife which I bought in airport counter. Now they are replying that Easemytrip has done the cancellation correctly, as they cancelled only one Adult ticket, AirIndia misguided you in boarding counter. Was this information helpful? | |||
