I purchased an Elica hob from Mumbai. After my shifting to Kolkata I'm facing some problems. I lodged a complaint for repairing. I got a call from one lady o[censored]nix Appliances asking for depositing an advance money. Meanwhile we got a message from Elica advising not to pay any advance. The lady took me in conference with a lady (Ms. Nikita) saying that she is from Elica. Ms. Nikita confirmed me that M/s Unix Appliances is the authorised service provider and advised me to pay the advance. I requested her to send the message from the official mail ID. She has sent a message (copy attached). Interestingly, below the mail the same message, not to pay advance, is written. I have not paid till date.
I would like to bring this to your notice. Firstly, if it is your authorised service provider, they must maintain inventory, at least for small parts, by investing their stake. I am ready for spot payment on getting my item repaired. Please stick to your principle of not to pay any advance, as i don't know Unix Appliances. Please resolve the issue.
