I bought elica "flexi brass hct 470 dx" on 23rd october 2016.
After 4 months, we submitted a complaint with elica service center for yellow flame. They reached out and checked the stove. They cleaned it a bit and went.
Also after the first cleaning, the flame started coming out from the sides.
Problem wasnt solved, so again after 6 months, we lodged a complaint. Same action was taken.
When one year passed away and warranty was over, they asked us that the burners should be replaced as they are damaged since they have been giving yellow flame and flame has been coming out from the sides which has danger of burning the hands while cooking.
Even the local burners work for years and doesn't just get damaged in 4-5 months
And elica service center was clever enough to tell us this after the warranty period.
We spent somewhere around[protected] on the stove just for the brand. If i would have known about the scam they are running in order to fetch more and more money from their customers, i would have never bought elica. Local stoves cost around[protected]. And elica is asking us to spend[protected] on new burners and that too just after an year of spending 12000 on this stove.
And now they have messaged me saying
"dear customer, we are closing ur case coz u'hv refused to pay the charges i[censored]r ready to pay the charges pl send sms to elica [protected] or case would be closed"
I want to get this resolved since the problem persisted from the very starting. And they have not said this in the waranty period because then the cost of replacing the burners would then have been on elica.

This seems to be the manufacturing defect and not the case of damaged burners. Burners and nipples doesnt get damaged in 4-5 months
I won't spend anything. I have already spent good 12000 on the stove an year back.
Let me know if you can get this resolved?
