This is revathy r, uan no[protected]. I had applied for my final settlement of pf (Since i am not working anymore) on 5th nov 2018. There was some issue with the pf website pan card details were not getting updated on the website, so i was asked by one of the pf kr puram office employee to go to the pf office personally and submit the hard copy of my pan card and form 15g. The very next day morning 9.30am (6th nov 2018) i went to the kr puram pf office personally and submitted the required documents and even got it sealed from the office employees as an acknowledgement.
The employee in the enquiry department confirmed that everything is fine and i will be getting the money credited to my account in another 15 working days.
Today when i checked the online portal i saw that the claim is rejected. I called up the kr puram office (No one picked up the call even after one hour of continuous ringing) and finally a lady employee picked it up (I tried [protected] number) she told me that my claim is rejected since i didn't submit form 15 g and hard copy of pan card. They are asking me to submit another request online and go to the kr puram pf office personally and submit the same documents all over again.
First of all i am not in a medical condition to travel such a long distance right now! Second thing is i requested if they can consider the same hard copy that was submitted so that i can reapply online for pf settlement once again to avoid a travel, they said no they can't. When i asked so what about the submitted documents which was given to the pro the employee told she doesnt know where it went. They have absolutely no answer for an employee's documents that was submitted and acknowledged by them.
Now they want me to courier the documents xerox copy again and wait to verify whether it has reached them.
Whoever is authorized requesting you sincerely to look into this issue and do the needful. If the employees are not responsible for even the documents that are being submitted by people how can an office run like this?
