Excitel — Fiber disconnection | |||
Hi, My name is Mohit Goswami, i am a resident of Ghaziabad, UP. I got Excitel broadband a few years back, at that time it was an ethernet connection and i was facing a lot of challenges, so Excitel took some additional money from me and moved me to Excitel Fiber It worked great for the first few months after which i had to raise a complaint every 3 months for the Excitel team to come and check their device and box on the floor and roof (this is a society), After significant number of complaints they agreed to change the router at my place and gave me a new router (this happened 1.5 months back) The new router worked fine for 2 weeks and then it had to be rebooted every day. In the first, reboot took 2-3 mins and the connection was good, however, after 3 weeks, the reboot and connection started taking 25 to 30 mins after every reboot. Again the sequence of complains & tickets started and finally someone from GlobalSagar (Excitel's fiber partner) came to check. They said the router was bad and gave me a new one, this new router did not work at all, then their engineer said my id was not getting updated in their database which was causing the issue. Everytime this series of tickets and resolutions was done, my plan dropped to 5 Mbps instead of the 300 Mbps I have been paying for. I finally put a disconnection request on 14th March 2021 and asked to refund the amount for the router(was charged in security) and the advance payment for the plan It has been 6 days now and i am waiting for any one to call me from Excitel or to give any update or to even understand what went wrong Please help to get my money back Disconnection # 5293051 Refund # 5293033 Was this information helpful? | |||
