[Resolved] Federal Bank — home loan account charging excess amount through emi | |||||
We have a home loan with Federal bank, loan account no - [protected], we have an EMI going every month from one of our other bank account in which we have kept excess amount of around 1 lac rupees just to avoid any kind of EMI bounce. 2 years back, Federal bank was charging us some extra amount every month as penalty for bouncing the EMI but we always had excess amount in our other bank account from where EMI is going, after 2 months of fight federal bank reverted our penalty charges but it ruined our cibil score. 1 week back, again 2800/- rs got deducted from our bank without any prior intimation from bank, after few days we got a call from federal bank Legal department saying our account file is forwarded to legal department as our EMI is pending. which is not possible as every month our EMI is going properly and we have excess amount of over 1 lac rupees in the bank account from where EMI is going. we are trying to reach federal bank louis wadi branch (Thane) since last 2 weeks but not getting any response or satisfactory answer. this is utter non sense and kind of harassment which is leading us to file a complaint against federal bank and transfer our home loan to other bank.
