[Resolved] Fedex — Delayed/unnecessary shipment[protected] | |||||
Fedex customer support sucks and are pathetic at doing their job! I had my documents shipped with expedited shipment service from india to el salvador and was given an understanding that it would take 7 business day to a maximum of 10 business days. So i plan my work on the basis of the arrival time of these documents and had it shipped on 19th jun'17 and the package still lingering around in india even by 26th jun'17. Which means i loose more than couple of thousand dollars here for missing the appointment for unavailability of the documents which fedex promise to ship to me. Now, seeing no progress even by 26th jun, i ask fedex to cancel my shipment and send it back to the shipper as it is pointless and i get a response that my request was taken into consideration but no one has any idea of how to return the package. To my surprise i received the package on 3rd july and don't know what should i do with it now.. On my emails to fedex, i see no progress or even believe that they understand anything beyond the package being delivered to me now regardless of how long it took and no sense receiving it now. Beautifully they write, apologies for the inconvenience and it got delayed due to operational constraints and i've been asking what does it mean to me and what should i do for the reason i just trusted fedex as an international ambassador for this job and i lost over 1000+ dollars on missing documents for the scheduled appointment and my shipment fee of 7800 inr... You guys are nuts! I'd appreciate if someone from fedex is really interested in having a sensible dialogue and close the loop with me even before i go viral about this. Email - murali.
