Fedex — I did not informed about my international packet since July'21

My friend sent me gift chocolate, but executive from Fedex did not informed me about receipt of packet. After 3 month i asked at toll free number customer executive took my contact detail phone number and mail id, i awaited for one week and called again what happened for my packet, customer executive explain me about KYC and i followed procedure for KYC. My query is that how consignee know about his packet?Now your company asked for charges Rs 5000(five thousand) for ware house charges. My query is that why FEDEX did not informed me about my packet received and advised me for Custom clearance? there is no any system to follow up for such incident. Value of chocolate is $5.5 how i can paid Rs7000 (Seven thousand rupees) for Rs 450 chocolate and already paid Rs3500 for courier charges, Kindly look in to the issue and do needful, i have given mail id and contact number but there is no any communication after KYC
