Fedex — my shipment says customs clearance delay | |||
I have sent a parcel containing mere documents from Canada to India. And my parcel has been held in bangalore for customs clearance for the past 3-4 days. I was first asked to submit commercial invoice which i did. Then my recipient was asked to submit kyc form. But my recipient is a financial company(LICHFL) and they would not be able to provide kyc due to their privacy policies and they have stated all these in an email, along with the purpose of me sending these documents to them and sent to the kyc team in fedex. But whenever i call fedex, they just keep asking for the same documents that has already been submitted many times and yet they are saying that they havent got customs clearance. Recipient has also made it clear that its not their norm to send kyc form. Will a nationalized bank in India provide kyc ???? The answer is simply NO. Then why ask for it ? I have sent it in international priority and this is how its being treated ! Fedex is the WORST of all other courier companies in this world ! I have used DHL prior and i have had no issues. FEDEX was close to my house and that was why i chose to send by fedex and im regretting now ! Worst customer care service especially the Indian fedex team. They have no clue what they are dealing with ! Was this information helpful? | |||
