[Resolved] Flipkart — airlines | |||
Sir, I have booked an air ticket from raipur to kochi on 27th february 2020 for my daughter reshma who has been a pg resident doctor at aiims, raipur. I booked the ticket through flipkart and the booking id was ff[protected]. The travel date was 18th march 2020. Due to the outbreak of covid 19 pandemic she was instructed by the authorities to cancel the journey and be available at aiims for the next few days. So on 14th march 2020 i requested flipkart to reschedule the journey to 20th may 2020 upon which i got the an acknowledgement mail from flipkart (Attached separately). I preferred the reschedule at that point of time because the indigo airlines was offering flight rescheduling for bookings for travel between 12th and 31st march 2020 without change fee. I am eligible for this exemption of change fee as i have requested for reschedule three days prior to departure. Please see the screen shot of the indigo ad. (Attached separately). Though the mail from flipkart on 14th march stated that i would be contacted over phone within 30 minutes nobody called me. I sent at least a dozen mails enquiring the status of my request but didn’t get any specific reply. The screenshots of some of the mails are shown below (Attached separately). Now on 27th march i got the following mail from flipkart saying that they cannot entertain the request for reschedule as the travel date is already over. Please see screenshot of the mail (Attached separately). Kindly see that i have requested on 14th march for rescheduling the travel originally scheduled for 18th march 2020 and the reason framed by flipkart travel desk for rejection of the request is totally baseless. Since Reschedule request could not be entertain on time due to heavy inflow so please inform the Cx to make new booking which has a COST of Rs.3200 and we will process the refund of same amount.Appreciate your understanding. | |||
