I was a flipkart user, a very old one. Using since long time. about a year back my account suddenly was unable to login. I was sure I typed username/password correct, but it just did not accept in. Then, I tried forgot password, to reset, and it said 'unable to update password, please try again'. There I noticed something is wrong. Tried the same thing on app, and it said "Your Flipkart account is blocked, please contact customer care'.
I dont know why it was blocked, I was a flipkart first member too. This is not how you treat your customers. What a useless company. Heard from friends that they sometimes block accounts, if returns are more as per their policy. I am not sure I have returned that many to warrant account blocking, anyways if the product is not meeting standards, it will be returned. It is a [censored] policy if it even exists.
Now, this was one year back. Tried resolving it that time with customer care, some said wait for few days, some said website issue, and whatever. But no solution. I also did not revisit the same, until this last week. The issue still persists. I tried customer care calling, they only register the complaint, nothing further happens. They are clueless why the account is blocked. Some even said the account is not showing blocked?? God knows what!
I was also told to mail to [protected]@flipkart.com explaining the problem, along with error screenshots and id card copy attached, which i sent 3 times in last week. NO response at all.
This is one of the most clueless customer cares I have ever seen in my entire life. I see no hope of the solution, hence I am writing here, hopefully this wakes them up - the sleeping executives, and the issue is resolved at the earliest.
