[Resolved]  Flipkart — Cancellation of order OD[protected]

Flipkart team, I was sucessful in buying a Lenovo K3 note handset through the 1st flash sale. The order ID is mentioned in the subject. I have been very keen to receive this handset and this was the reason that I had invested 1 hr during the flash sale day to ensure I am successful in securing the handset. To my utmost surprise I receive the below email from Flipkart stating that it has been cancelled. I immediately called up Flipkart and spoke to Mr. Champak and Mr. Sudhakar. I was shocked to hear from them when they say that I had cancelled the order online. I have ABSOLUTELY not cancelled the order online as well as on phone and am extremely disappointed and surprised at the below email. I have been waiting patiently and was more than willing to even accept a delay in delivery. The initial delivery date given to me was 11th July which was revised to 15th July. I am fine with it and reiterate that I have not cancelled the order. I do not need any apologies and strongly request you to ensure the handset is delivered to me. Please understand it was a surprise birthday present to someone and if the handset is not delivered to me, I will lose the faith and confidence in Flipkart, FOREVER, thinking that a manipulative game has been played here wherein, despite I have not initiated any cancellation request, Flipkart claims it has been initiated by me. It may not matter much to Flipkart losing a customer like me, but shall make it a point to share my experience to all social media sites and blogs within the startup and PE fraternity creating an awareness about manipulatively passing the buck on customer's head, with all evidences. It is surely not a threatening statement, just a polite comment from a disappointed customer. I'm just hoping you will ensure not make me lose faith in Flipkart avoiding this unfair means to shatter a consumer confidence, especially when an emotional element is associated with it and restore my confidence in Flipkart as an ethical online portal. Flipkart finally delivered the handset, though a week later than the promised date. It was a very painful and unpleasant experience. Thank you consumer complaints wherein this portal helped me to get the handset.
