Complaint Details:

I have been unable to update my email address in my Flipkart account for over 4 years. The email currently registered with my account is no longer accessible to me. When I attempt to update it, Flipkart requires OTP verification from both the old email and my registered mobile number. Since I no longer have access to the old email, I cannot complete the OTP process.

I’ve tried reaching out through the Flipkart Help Centre, but it only connects me to chatbots that do not understand my issue and do not route me to a human representative. This has been a persistent problem, and I urgently need assistance from a real customer support agent to resolve it.

Please help me update my email address or provide an alternative verification method.

I am following up on my earlier complaint regarding the inability to update my registered email address on my Flipkart account. My original complaint (ID: 3535263) was submitted on October 1, 2025, and I received confirmation from ConsumerComplaints.in on October 8, 2025, stating that the issue had been forwarded to Flipkart Internet Pvt. Ltd. customer service.

However, it has now been several days, and I have not received any response from Flipkart. The issue remains unresolved, and I am still unable to update my email due to OTP verification requirements from the old email ID—which I no longer have access to.

I attempted to escalate the issue by contacting Flipkart’s grievance officers via the provided numbers:

Unfortunately, both numbers are not working, and I have not been able to reach a human representative through Flipkart’s Help Centre either. The chatbot system does not understand my issue and fails to escalate it appropriately.

This has been a persistent problem for over four years, and I urgently need assistance from a real customer support agent. I request ConsumerComplaints.in to escalate this matter further or advise on alternate channels to resolve this issue. I am also open to verifying my identity through my registered mobile number or any other secure method Flipkart may suggest.
