I am filing this complaint against Flipkart regarding my recent purchase of an IFB AC (Order ID: OD[protected].
On 25th March 2026, I reported that the copper pipe and nut bolts were missing from the package. Flipkart support team verified and confirmed the issue. Instead of replacement/return, I was advised to arrange the parts myself and submit a GST bill for reimbursement.
?? Important Point (Misleading Assurance):
Before proceeding, I clearly expressed concern about taking this risk. However, the Flipkart executive assured me that I would receive FULL reimbursement of my bill amount, especially as I am a Flipkart Gold Member. Based on this clear assurance, I agreed and arranged the parts.
I purchased the required items and submitted a GST bill of ?5782 as instructed.
However, after submission:
I was first told only ?3500–?3600 would be reimbursed
Later, this was further reduced to ?3000 only
? This is a direct violation of the earlier commitment made by the support team. I have clearly refused partial reimbursement as it contradicts the assurance given to me.
Additionally:
My complaint ticket was closed without my consent
I have made daily follow-ups (15–20 days, ~1 hour each day)
I received false promises of escalation and callbacks
No reimbursement has been processed till date
This behavior is misleading, unfair, and amounts to harassment, as I acted solely based on Flipkart’s assurance of full reimbursement.
My Requests:
Review the call recordings of 25th March 2026, where full reimbursement was promised
Process the full reimbursement of ?5782 as per my GST bill
Reopen my complaint and resolve it properly
Take action against such misleading practices to prevent future incidents
If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to pursue further legal remedies.
