Dear Sir/Madam,
I am filing this complaint against Flipkart for selling a counterfeit product that caused severe data loss and emotional distress.

Product: Sandisk Memory Card 128 GB
Order Date: October 31, 2023
Order ID: OD[protected]
Tax Invoice: FAP22C[protected]
Warranty: 5 years (as per product listing)
Upon using the memory card purchased from Flipkart, my phone data became corrupted. This data included precious pictures of my infant daughter, which are irreplaceable.
When I contacted Flipkart, they denied any responsibility for data retrieval. Following their advice, I contacted Sandisk officials, who confirmed that the memory card is a fake product and not manufactured by Sandisk.
My Concerns:
Flipkart sold a counterfeit product, which is a serious violation of consumer rights.
The fake product caused irreversible data corruption, resulting in emotional and sentimental loss.
Flipkart has refused to assist in data recovery or provide an adequate resolution.
My Demand for Resolution:
Replacement of the memory card is not acceptable, as the primary loss is my data.
Flipkart must either:
a) Arrange for professional data recovery at their cost, OR
b) Provide strong monetary compensation for the loss and inconvenience caused.
Additionally, strict action should be taken against the vendor who supplied this counterfeit product on Flipkart’s platform.
This incident reflects gross negligence and lack of quality control by Flipkart, which has caused me significant emotional distress. I request urgent intervention and a fair resolution.
