I am writing to file a formal complaint against Flipkart regarding the consistent delay in delivering my recent order, Order (OD[protected]. This order includes Bata Slides (Black 7) and WOW SKIN SCIENCE Apple Cider Vinegar 100mL Tube Face Wash (100 ml). The purpose of this complaint is to bring to your attention the distressing issue I have been facing, which has caused significant inconvenience, mental anguish, and financial loss.
Despite paying the required shipping fee, Flipkart has continuously failed to deliver my order within the promised timeframe. The delivery dates for my orders have been repeatedly pushed back without any valid justification or explanation. As a customer living in a hostel, these delays have caused immense inconvenience, leaving me without essential products that I urgently require. The constant uncertainty surrounding the delivery dates has disrupted my daily routine and resulted in unnecessary distress.
In my attempts to address this issue, I have lodged a complaint with Flipkart via phone call, expressing my concern over the persistent delay in receiving my orders. However, the response I received via email stated that my issue had been escalated to the concerned team and would supposedly be resolved by July 17, 2023, at 12:49 PM. This response fails to provide a satisfactory resolution, as it sets a deadline that falls within the scope of the existing delay itself, lacking logical reasoning.
Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that as customers, we are charged for delivery services with the expectation that our products will be delivered within the promised timeframe. If Flipkart fails to fulfill its end of the agreement, it is only fair that the delivery charges be refunded to the customers. I firmly believe that the company should be held accountable for its actions and take responsibility for the inconvenience and financial loss caused by their inefficiency.
I hereby request your immediate intervention in rectifying this matter and ensuring the prompt delivery of my products. The severe inconvenience, mental distress, and financial burden caused by these recurring delays are unacceptable, and I seek a comprehensive resolution to this issue. Cancelling the order is not an acceptable solution, as the ordered items are genuinely required by me.
If the necessary action is not taken promptly, I will be left with no choice but to pursue alternative avenues for seeking redress. This includes escalating the matter to the consumer court to not only claim a refund of the delivery charges but also seek appropriate compensation for the ordeal I have been subjected to.
