I booked a flight ticket via Flipkart on March 26, 2025, for travel from Kochi to Frankfurt on May 6, 2025 (Ethihad). The booking details indicated a 7kg cabin baggage allowance and a 30kg check-in baggage allowance. After verifying this information multiple times, I proceeded with the booking.
However, upon receiving the ticket, I noticed that it only included a 7kg cabin baggage allowance. I raised a complaint on March 27 and provided all the requested screenshots showing where I saw the 30kg check-in allowance.
Despite this, I was informed that there was no technical glitch and that my ticket only includes a 7kg check-in baggage allowance. Yet, Flipkart continues to display the 7kg cabin and 30kg check-in baggage allowance for the same journey.
It has been over 10 days since I raised the complaint, and the responses I have received suggest that I am either bluffing or providing current screenshots. However, I submitted the screenshots on March 27.
This situation is extremely frustrating, especially considering that purchasing additional check-in baggage costs ₹5000 per 5kg, while my ticket was supposed to include 30kg.
I would like to have the shown check-in luggage included in m ticket. luggage.
