Flipkart — defective product delivered and return not being collected

A defective product (Wall Clock) was delivered to us on 24th March, which was cancelled for return and refund. This was also acknowledged by FlipKart and the return was first arranged on 28th March but the Pickup guy refused to collect as he said that he is on bike and will not be able to carry it back. A point to note is that the same guy had delivered this defective product on bike, but was making flimsy excuses.

Thereafter, we contacted customer care and spoke to their Customer Executive Harsh who assured to ensure the product is collected asap. Accordingly, we got a pickup date of 1st April and then 3rd April and now 5th April. But, the product is not being collected nor the refund is received. Harsh stated that the logistics team is the problem and has escalated this matter but we still await collection and refund for the defective product.

The above product received from Flipkart on 24th March was defective and return placement for refund was accepted. Thereafter, Flipkart has just been changing collection dates, which started from 25th, changed to 30th then revised to 3rd April, 5th April, 8th April and now 14th April. Meanwhile, Flipkart has also attempted to cancel the return/refund twice but was reinstated on contacting the customer support team.

The product is neither being collected nor the refund is being made. Calls to their Helpdesk always has the standard response of matter has been escalated to the HUB and asked the delivery/collection agent to collect the return product.
